SuperBody® and SuperSyringe®
Materials
 SuperBody®
SuperBody® reversible hydrocolloids are available in
three formulations. SuperBody® 500 is a deep-blue,
high-density material that provides outstanding contrast
and enhanced readability. It's density and displaces
syringe materials more completely than other
hydrocolloids, giving exceptionally accurate
impressions. The wide mouth tube facilitates fast tray
loading. SuperBody® 510 is a purple, fast-tempering
material for clinicians who want shorter tempering times
(3 to 6 minutes). It is excellent at high altitudes,
liquefying at up to 5,200 feet (1,585 meters) in
water bath-type conditioners without the need for
propylene glycol. SuperBody® 530 is the traditional
green, heavy body formulation preferred by many
practitioners.
SuperSyringe®
Gingi-Pak syringe
materials are available in two formulations. Gingi-Pak "orange"
has a high gel strength equal to many regular tray materials, which virtually
eliminates the marginal tearing often experienced with other hydrocolloid
syringe materials. Gingi-Pak "yellow" also has the same gel
strength as most regular tray materials. Its bright yellow color makes it
very readable, and it also less viscous and more free-flowing, making it ideal
for high-altitude applications.
