  • Soft silicone grips give a "tactile" feel that is amazing!

  • Instrument is lightweight so it handles and maneuvers comfortably!  And it may be sterilized with all standard techniques.

  • The two heads are offset 90 degrees to you always have just the right working angle, even in difficult areas.

Technique

1. If porcelain veneer is present, use a diamond to cut a "slot" down to the metal.  Use a carbide bur to cut through the metal the entire length of the facial or lingual surface and onto the occlusal.

2. When there is no metal remaining in the "slot", place the Nemetz Crown Remover firmly down the "slot".  Depending on the location use the end which is most comfortable and will allow instrument movement.

3. Gently rotate the Nemetz Crown Remover while holding it firmly in the "slot".  Use only enough force to allow the instrument's techniques head design to spread the crown slightly as it is rotated.

4. As the crown spreads, displacement will take place in both frontal and lateral directions and the cement bond will be broken.  At this point the crown or bridge should be ready to remove.
